Krista Scott is the associate dean for undergraduate programs in Virginia Commonwealth University's (VCU) College of Humanities and Sciences. She is passionate about helping students find their academic home and helping them achieve success as they progress towards their degree. Krista is responsible for the development and implementation of strategy for undergraduate education and student success, including enrollment management, recruiting, advising, student outcomes and guidance on development of new degree programs. Her position supports ambitious university enrollment goals of building talented and diverse incoming classes by actively recruiting, admitting, enrolling and graduating students. Prior to this role, Krista served as Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Student Engagement in Ohio State University's (OSU) College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Krista is graduate of the University of Florida, where she began her career in admissions. In addition to her work, Krista is a doctoral student in OSU's College of Education and Human Ecology, completing her degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs.
