Career Coaching

Determining the direction you want to take your career can be challenging to do alone - and we are here to help. Career coaching services offered through VCU Human Resources will assist employees in owning and sculpting their own career, enhancing their ability to self-advocate and plan their career trajectory.

Career coaching is a type of one-on-one collaboration between a participant and a career coach. Participants discover, plan, and actualize their career goals while building career confidence. Throughout the career coaching experience, participants utilize various tools and resources with a career coach serving as their accountability partner and guide to planning and decision making.

These services are designed for entry to mid-level employees. For information on coaching for senior and executive level employees, see our leadership coaching page.
