Part-time University and Academic Professionals
When reading about health benefits, please note the following:
- University employees who work 75 percent or more FTE (full-time equivalency) are considered full-time for health benefits coverage, which means that VCU pays a portion of the premium and the employee pays a portion of the premium.
University employees who work between 50 and 74.9 percent FTE are eligible for health benefits coverage; however, participants pay the total premium (VCU’s premium portion plus their own premium portion).
