Welcome to the Management & Entrepreneurship Department in the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Business

VCU is a nationally ranked R1 urban university committed to transforming students, and the communities we serve through innovative research, teaching, and community partnerships. The VCU School of Business is dedicated to producing research and graduates that drive new thinking in business and policy. 

As part of that mission, we seek a Chair for the Management & Entrepreneurship Department.  The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, spearhead the department’s research efforts, enhance the department’s culture of intellectual thought leadership, and promote a collaborative academic community. The Chair will play a central role in leveraging several transformative opportunities, including anticipated faculty hires and the recent acquisition of several grants and philanthropic investments that could expand the department’s and the School’s reach and impact.  

This position offers an exceptional opportunity for an innovative leader to guide a high-potential department during a period of significant growth. The new department chair will work closely with the department’s faculty and leadership team to shape a vision and a strategy for future success.
