Employee Well-being Events

Live events such as webinars, exercise classes and information sessions are a great way to set aside an hour or so in your day to focus on well-being topics that are most relevant to you. Most programs continue to be offered virtually unless specified below. 

VCU is happy to share opportunities to attend university well-being programs with other members of the VCU community, including VCU Health, VCU Dentistry, and other affiliated entities. Please be aware that some features and services discussed may be limited to university employees or may apply differently to employees of VCU Health or other entities. Contact your entity's HR department with any questions.

The Science of Summer Wellness- Mind, Body and Energy

(Presented by VCU HR and Employee Health)

Susan Richards, RN from VCU Employee Health will explore simple, science-backed strategies to help you feel your best this summer. In this engaging session, participants will learn how seasonal changes can impact physical and emotional well-being, energy levels, sleep, stress, and overall health. Attendees will leave with practical tips to boost resilience, stay energized, and support their well-being throughout the summer months.

Monday, June 29th – 12 pm

Low Impact Aerobics

(Presented by VCU HR and VCU Recreation & Well-Being)

This low-impact class is great for any fitness level. Rhythmic, full body movements will help to loosen muscles while elevating the heart rate. No equipment necessary.
