Employee Well-being Events
Live events such as webinars, exercise classes and information sessions are a great way to set aside an hour or so in your day to focus on well-being topics that are most relevant to you. Most programs continue to be offered virtually unless specified below.
VCU is happy to share opportunities to attend university well-being programs with other members of the VCU community, including VCU Health, VCU Dentistry, and other affiliated entities. Please be aware that some features and services discussed may be limited to university employees or may apply differently to employees of VCU Health or other entities. Contact your entity's HR department with any questions.
Full Body Circuit - Wednesday, July 9th – 12 pm

This is an in-depth class focusing on what an emotion is, and how understanding your emotions can help make or break situations. It’s an interactive, tool-based seminar that dives deeper into the amazing world of emotional intelligence to help participants understand general emotions, recognize the four basic emotions, and learn what works best for each individual.
WellGOnomics - Wednesday, July 23rd – 12 pm

This program focuses on ergonomics, which is the study of the relationship between people and the objects and environments with which they interact. Learn more about ergonomically correct work (and home) environments to reduce injury and pain.
