Stephanie Ganser

Director of the Adult Learner Experience

Stephanie Ganser brings more than 10 years experience in higher education to her new role as Director of the Adult Learner Experience at VCU.  Stephanie most recently was Assistant Dean of Students at UNC Wilmington. In that role she created the first Military Resource Lounge in partnership with Student Veterans of America/Home Depot through a $10,000 grant. She was also the University liaison to the City of Wilmington responsible for town gown relations and responsible for off-campus student outreach and managed the displacement of all off-campus students from their homes during Hurricane Florence. Prior, she has worked in Housing and Residence Life and Academic Advising.  Stephanie loves working with adult and non-traditional students to create the conditions they need to thrive and looks forward to doing just that in the newly created Office of Adult and Non-Traditional Student Services at VCU.  Stephanie is new to Richmond and is looking forward to exploring the area with her dog, Sophie. You can already find her at a Squirrels game, Maymont, or at the James River.
